Icon2 H22a Swap "ecu help"

ok, i bought a jdm h22a motor from tigerjapanese.com

i wasnt quite sure how to wire the vtec because there was no oil pressure switch.

so i took it into my dads friends shop and he said that i bought the wrong p13 ecu, somethin to with the knock sensor.

i think i bought a usdm ecu and i'm in need of a jdm ecu. does this sound right?

oh and i've been driving around usin my old p14 ecu is this a bad thing, it seems to be running fine, no knocks or stalls or anything like that

well let me know

thanks

You can use either or. If you chip the ECU it will take out the knock sensor.
