ok heres the situation i have a 92 civic vx h/b that has 124,xxx k on it the motor and car are all stock except it has been lowered it is teal....ok now the reason i may sell it is because i think my insurace is gunna make it a TOTAL LOSS...due to some hater *** vandels who broke into my car stole my stereo and tv out of it and decided they where gunna key my whole car(every panel but the bumpers) and kick or punch my drivers side door in......i am trying to get pics of it online here within the next few days ...keep in mind if i do sell it it WILL HAVE A SALVAGE TITLE...... so i would like to sell it as is for 2500 and if i fix it for like 3000....pls let me know if you are interested and post on here or email me....thanks

 

I paid $2200 for my hatch with a CLEAN title - why would people pay more for a salvage? If insurance makes a total loss out of it, your getting money for the car... seems a little unfair your going to get the value of the car then PLUS $2500 for a salvage which is like another $2000 into your pocket after you buy the car back from insurance co - I wouldnt pay more then $1500 for a salvaged car seeing as its not resellable, AND you have a dented door and keyed car. $2500 is WAY WAY WAY WAY too much!

 

If they are going to clain it as a total loss, how can you keep it?

 

You can usually buy the car from the insurance company for cheap... which is im sure how hes going to "keep" the car...

 

acctually im not gunna get a dime for the car from insurance....i still owe money on it and its more than the value of the car also .......it was only on here to get offers not for your smart *** remarks and what else is also funnt is that some one wants to buy it for 2000 right now with salvage title and the way it looks....so i dont really care what you would or wouldnt pay for it/......so in a way after i get the 2 thousand from the guy and pay my deductible and whats left on the car ill prolly only have a grand left over if not less......so next time you gunna put you 2 sence in on somthin make sure you know what the **** your talkin about ...thanks
