i recomend anything from a 15" whel to a 17" wheel...the stock fender wells will let you stick 19's in there, but i would definitely not suggest this...the bolt pattern for the 5th gen is a 4x114.3 mm...and any offset from 38mm to 44mm will work...i'm sure other offsets will work, but those are common offsets...so yeah...

prelude = yes

Kosei K1's 15x7 are the perfect rim because the offset allows you to fit 225/50/15's without wheel studs and spacers

Well, 225/50/15's are the wrong aspect ratio though.

do they make K1's in 4x114.3?? i always thought they only came for civic/integra's 4x100.

and for 5th gen accords that have 195/60/15 stock wheels (24.2" diameter), i think 225/50/15 is the closest w/ 24" diameter?

In any case, what 225/50/15 tires are you guys using? and what offset would you need for 15x7 wheels?

on the side, how about 16x7 wheels, thats what I was thinking of getting. I figure there are more tire options w/ 16x7 than 15" wheel and i dont need to goto 17" w/ extra wheel weight.

How come 4doorH22 has to use longer studs and spacers to use with his 15x7 K-1's and 225 sectional tires? Can you order K-1's with custom offsets?

Actually 225/50/15 is perfect for an Accord if you are going to race. But for the street, go with 205/60/15.

the smaller the offset the more your wheels stick out. I'm pretty sure that the offset number is the distance between the center line of the wheel and the hub/rotor mating surface. So as that the distance decreases the center line of the wheels moves further and further out...

look at my pics in my sig. 17x7's with 37mm offset. Perfect.

So a +38 offset would be better than a +42 for 16x8"s right? Greensleeper do you have any rubbing with those wheels?

the first number 205, 215 etc is the width of the tire. then the second number say 40, 45, 50 etc, is the precentage of the width for the side wall. make sense?
