so i bought a rebuild kit, and well i got 81.5mm pistons and umm they came with 81mm piston rings, so what should i do now?

 

buy 81.5 mm rings? and please buy good ones,,, no cheap ****.

go with npr gnh rings or at least hastings. i dont believe oem comes in that size

ive had oiling issues with the yellow brown box npr rings

 

any idea where i can buy them?

 

The hasting rings are really decent. Are you 100% sure it's 81.00 rings? I know the hastings ring kit has the 81mm part # on them, then on the end has .020 on it. And the box reads 81mm also. But with the ".020" at the end of the part number, they are 81.5mm rings.

i used perfect circle rings for my 81.5 lsv and havnt had any problems
