ok so i have a ls/vtec and while driving with the heat off even normal 5h gear (which is running rich BTW) the car over heats. but if i turn the heat on it very slowly begins to reduce in temps. the cooling issue was much worst, today i fixed it cuz b4 i had the 2 larger hoeses on the thermostat housing swapped the one gooing to the head and the other for the heater were backwards but seems better now. the little hoes off the intake is plugged. and i have the TB and IaCV lines coolant lines disconnected as well.
my radiator is a dual core koyo and a slim fan. havnt had a problem on my old set up.
i also replaced my thermostat more than once and also let it idle with the heat on full, and rad cap off.
now im unsure if my head is lifting im only at 15 psi. ( one bar) or if i should pressurize the system and look for leaks. i did a comp test today and got 155 across the board. (8.9:1 pistons.)
i just got a new paint job and new tune 515 on 18 PSi. AND USING ONLY 1 bar right now at 452 WHP. so i really wanna just get out there and enjoy the car but it sucks cuz this is happening.
