SUNDAY DRIVE TO LEAVENWORTH, Sunday May 30th, 2010 @ 10am
For the NorthWest group,Thought i would just put up a last chance reminder. coppied this over from

Hi, guys,
With regards to this Sunday's drive to Leavenworth, as far as I'm concerned, it's still on. I checked the weather on the Internet -- King5 says partly cloudy, chance of showers. I then checked the Weather Channel for Everett (it said cloudy, showers, 40% chance of precipitation), Stevens Pass (about the same), and Leavenworth (showed a sun, said partly sunndy, 65 degrees). I still hoping for top down weather, but possibly we may not be able to put our soft tops down until after Steven Pass. I guess that's o.k.
I said bad weather cancels. That would be pouring rain from Mill Creek (where we're meeting) to Leavenworth.
If the weather looks iffy, I suppose those who want to go ahead and meet can, and we'll make a group decision to go or reschedule.
I saw one post from someone who said he wanted to go on the ride to meet other S2000 owners. Me, too! So, my goal was not to have a S2000 race to Leavenworth (though I know with our V-Tec engines that would be fun), but to have a nice safe group drive to the designated destination. I presume we'll stay on Hwy 2 all the way, but if there are those in the group who have different route suggestions, I suppose we can entertain those and decide before we leave on Sunday.
Rain or shine, I'll be at the meeting place. If it's pouring, and no one shows up, then I'll get on the board and try to reschedule. But I think (hope?) the weather will hold up so right now on the Friday evening before, the drive is a go.
Again, here's the vitals:
WHEN: Sunday, May 30th, 10:00 a.m.
MEET WHERE: Central Market parking lot, Mill Creek.
MY S2000: 2003, Suzuki Blue, License BK 01818 (the "Share the Road" bicycle license plate).
DESINTATION: Leavenworth. When we get there, we'll figure out a place for lunch (whatever the group wants to do is fine with me).
I'm hesitant to put my cell # on the forum -- I'll share it with those show up so we can keep in contact on the drive up.
Hope to see many of you on Sunday! Look forward to meeting those of you who say you'll be coming!
