i hate b16's
ive had my b16 in my hatch for about 4 months now, and i can honestly say it sucks ***....i had a del sol before with a fully built gsr motor, but decided i needed something drivable everyday....so i got a hatch and put a b16 in it....yea, it sucks...the motor runs great, its just soooooooooo sloooow. So i made up my mind, im gonna pull it out, sell it...and drop a fully built h22a....anyone wanna buy a great running jdm b16a motor with jdm gsr tranny with lsd? lemmie know....bye

i really hope your not gonna attempt that with a b16 or wanted to try that with a b16. the h22 you mentioned would be a much better choice.
the b16 is a good engine but it has no torque, hence the name "torqueless wonder"
I love mine but i will not be pumping any money into it for internals when i boost. i will be building a b18c for that.

i would love to build the motor i used to have again....but funds come into play....that motor that was in the del was over 11,000.....if i get an h22, spray 100 shot on that bitch and im runnin low 12's high 11's....
Those times are still pretty hopeful. My friend has a striiped eg hatch with an h22, Intake header exhaust with lsd tranny and sprayin 75 shot and runnin on 23" slicks and ran a 12.8...13.3 all motor
Which series B16a do you have.......1 or 5-series? Check the first number the block starts with. The 5-series are a lot quicker than 1-series. Better cam profile, gear ratio, and intake manifold.
I think B16a's are better on the circuit.......they have no torque, but are rev happy. I think they have the best geometry compared to all b-series engines. Best rod ratio......all other b-series were built around the b16a.
Why not run a B17a short block? It's already making 160hp with 9.7c/r. Imagine it with JDM ITR cams......

ok dude, i said i built the b16 hatch because i wanted something more reliable after the del.....i could care less now if the hatch is reliable with the h22a, i have another daily driver now......dont twist my words...
I didn't twist ****, I posted it EXACTLY how you posted it. You made the impression you're still looking for something more reliable. If its gonna be all track h22 is ok, otherwise I'd personally go b18c again and build it in a hatch and strip the hatch down... my opinion... I thought you were looking for something more reliable...
