Did any USDM ITRs come with the red stitched shifter boots, or was that just for other markets? I just noticed that the shifter boot in my 00 R is just the regular black with black stitching. Is that the way it would have come, or has it been switched out at some point? They both look good to me. I just want to make sure I have the correct one.

All US were stitched black, JDM came Red or Yellow stitched

 

OEM red stitched shift boot has always been one of my first mods for my last 5 cars.

 

96-97 jdm R's came with black stiched boots. 98+ had different color stiching
