Hello, and thank you in advance. I live in Australia and have a 1999 Gsi integra which is like an LS in the usa w/o a sunroof. I put in a jdm vtir (gsr) 180hp motor. I have no installed a greddy turbo kit with a greddy fmic , bov, and i have greddy cat back exhaust which i think is 2.4" piping. The car runs awesome and smooth, but the only problem is that i think it is not making enough power. The car made 205hp to the wheels at the stock 6 psi. According to greddy's charts and other resources the car should make around 220-240hp. What could cause this? It just seems to be low in numbers considering they say 220 w/o intercooler and up to 240 with intercooler. I have a jdm motor which is 10hp more plus the intercooler and im only getting 205hp to the wheels. Any adivce? If i put 3" piping how much hp am i looking at gaining? Is it worth it?

 

I can't answer that question, but I know the others will be asking what turbo? Also, did you dyno the car at all before putting the turbo on? Some dynos read exceptionally low, and you'd want to see the difference, rather than the outright number.

In general, it could be a problem with your tune. Though, you didn't mention anything about that. Did you tune it, or just slap the turbo on there?

 

Yes the car was tuned. The car is using the greddy turbo kit make for the integra with the greddy emanage. I did not dyno it before hand.

 

you took your rgeddy emanage to a greddy approved tuner correct?
