Hey was wondering if alternator, starter would swap onto an a6 i just bought from my b2? also could i use an ef si engine harness or ecu or do i need a crx si stuff? and for that matter does the harness need to match motor year?

Is an ef si dizzy, ecu, intake mannifold, wire harness & or resistor the same as crx si? and could i use it with my a6? my crx is a dx..

if theres a list of stuff that can swap would be helpful and suff that wont work as well would help too.. thanks

 

you can use the same alternator and starter from the b2 on the a6...also use your existing engine harness if your staying dpfi or going mpfi.

if your going mpfi you need a td-02u or td-18u dizzy,pm6 ecu,a6 or zc sohc intake manifold and a resistor box from a si.

search the faq section on how to do a mpfi swap

 

but do you know if ef and si stuff are similar? if not its cool.. i appreciate for what you helped me with

usdm si and zc sohc motor parts are the same...!!!

 

I mean "USDM" 89 91 civic si parts.. in that response lol sorry so many people call theirs an "ef" but its whatever i guess. soo...?
