Default Air Compressor Problem

My Air conditioning in my 93 civic is in working condition besides a little glitch. Seems like when I’m accelerating the clutch is slipping. The lag from the compressor seems to go in and out as if the clutch is engaging and disengaging. I played with it for a few blocks and it seemed like it goes off (slips) during Accel. Can anyone confirm that it’s the clutch for sure?

Does it make a noise? could be either a bad compressor or bearing / clutch assy. Check the gap between the two, while applying 12 v to the clutch.

Also make sure the A/C belt is tight.

it is normal for the ac clutch to cycle on/off as you drive.

is this your problem, or is it actually slipping and making noise?
