NOTICE: Don't elaborate on this topic in this thread. Send me a PM. I'll delete your PM as soon as I read it.
Anyhow, I have a realistic reason to lie to my ecu so that it thinks it's all working. That's because it is throwing codes, and I can't afford to fix it. I want my EVAP system to work since it DOES improve fuel economy, but I just can't afford to fix it. Hey, i'm in a pinch. I have about a month until I need an inspection sticker. No, I will not get a fake sticker. I want legal tags. I DO NOT live in an area that checks exhaust gases when it comes to inspection. I'm due for an inspection sticker again, and I still have a damned evap code. I've already spent money on it, but now i'm just unable to throw in the extra dime to fix it right in such a short amount of time. I'll eventually get it working, but I don't see it happening in such a short time frame.
If anyone would be so kind as to send me a PM to help me out so that I can get through this dilemma, you have no idea how much I would appreciate it.

LOL.
Unfortunately there are not any tricks that i am aware of that you can do to trick the evap system The PCM applies vaccum to the system and checks for leaks. Not sure that there is any way around this.
