is it harder to shift with the black spoon one since its plastic and so light? becuase i dont want to get it if it lacks function over the stock one.

don't like it, you WON'T have a hard time getting rid of it.
edit* I just noticed this is the 4th post you made about a shift
****. I can't wait to see how many threads you start about buying
something really $$$, like a motor.

how much is there to discuss its just a shiftknob..i got a replica ctr..and a metal spoon as a gift from my girl..they r both ok...they both work..lol..its just a ****.
I just dont really see all the hype about the spoon ****, its just a shift ****, Most people wont really even notice it. They dont make you any faster and they are pretty expensive, The fake carbon fiber one I got from autozone works great. Its not like someone is gonna look in your car and say "dizam mang yo shiznit ballin wit dat spoon ****!!" JK man, If you want one buy one, dont let other people tell you what to do.
I was going to buy the Spoon **** but it feels ackward to shift. It feels so light? Maybe its designed to be that way but Im not used to it.

i just bought mine from options and i really like it, except it didn't sit low enough on my shifter. there was an inch gap from the bottom the the **** and the top of the boot that really made me want to drink leaded paint. i thought about putting a bushing or a washer on my shifter to raise the top of the boot up, but then it made my boot look like a tee pee. so against the advice of my friend, i drilled the hole deeper and tapped it. now there is about an 1/8" gap. much much better. i'm really glad a committed my act of blasphemy!! i also have to kill a dead chicken, but that's an insignifigant detail...

i want the 30 seconds back that it took me to read this retarded thread.
it is a 50 dollar shiftknob. it is black, your car will not be any faster. everyone will laugh at you because you are the kid that had to poll people online to figure out whether or not to buy it.
if i were you i would test drive a civic with a spoon ****, and one without it.
maybe do a shootout and tech article with times and pictures so anyone else that needs their hand held to spend 50 bucks won't waste evryones time.
