I was on my way to school passing through davis,(lots of traffic) and for some reason this rsx in front of me kept slammin on their brakes. I slam on my brakes to avoid hitting them and what do you know. The person behind me rear ends me.

Damn.... my first accident in 2 years.. Oh well..

Oh they were driving a integra too heh.

it wasnt as bad as i thought.. No dents or anything, just tons of scratches across the whole bumper and there is a really deep scratch on the left side of the license plate which has a ding in it.

 

Damn, that sucks. I got rear ended less than 2 months when I got my GSR. It was just bumper damage, but the new paint job did not blend perfect with the original paint. I got rear ended twice in less than 6 months while being parked at a stop light. Why must people hit non moving cars. Stupid idiots.

 

That sucks man I dunno how I'd react if someone rear-ended me I'd be pretty pissed off about it.

 

I just got rear ended about 4 months ago. Claim as much as you can. The other party must pay because it's their fault. I got new exhaust, new bumper and couple hundred bux........

A friend of mine hit me last summer. He was in a Jeep. He almost ran over the top of me. 3700 dollars later (his insurance paid it) I was up and running again. But, it will never be the same. The taillights down line up properly anymore. They scrached the crap out the symbol. Just little stuff to **** me off. I hate getting body work done since it never seems to turn out as good as before. Good luck getting it fixed.

got rear ended this summer too. got it fixed. got sunroof fixed along with bumper with the money i got. dumb drivers suck.

That sucks.. maybe you can get a newer 98+ rear bumper.

If it makes ya feel better, I've been rear-ended 3 times (not in the same car.. but twice in the integra).

All 3 times it was a red car..
first it was girl driving a 2nd gen teg
second was a hit 'n run off a highway.. red beater sedan
third it was a red minivan..

...

 

dang man i'm sorry to hear that. i know how you feel. the only diff id that i had to replace my rear bumper and the interior of my trunk and bumper bar....etc. sucked....3200 bux of dammages. good thing it washis fault for changing his radio station...so he says.

I usually never follow to close. Traffic started to pick up then all of a sudden they stop. Everyone just needs to go 90!!

 

My Integra was totaled on the first of this month, after some dipshit turned in front of me at a yellow light. I had a 1996 Integra GS-R with over $2,000 in suspension and performance. The car had over 153,000 miles on it, and I ended up getting $9,823.07 for it!!!!! That is almost what I paid for it almost two years ago!!!! I lucked out big time.

 

i know exactly how you feel. at least your incident wasnt as bad as mines.

my integra, with a clean title and never been in an accident, has been hit 3 times. once with my car was parked in the front of my house, another time when i was stopped at a red light, and one more time when i slowed down as i approach a stop light.

the first one, was my neighbor, who lived accross the street. he side swiped my ride and the whole rear left quarter panel need to be replaced. the door and fender were only scratehed and had a little ding on it. i got the car fixed and the paint blended pretty damn good. also got a couple hundred bucks in returned for the damaged caused to my car, hassle and rental fees.

the second time was the worse. i was stopped at a red light, and a ******* toyota 4 runner rear ended my from behind at full speed. he was traveling at least 45 mph. my bumper, tailight, license plate, and trunk all needed to be replaced. lucky the frame wasnt fucked up. but anways, i got my whole car fixed, repainted and my side moldings done. also got an extra 3000 for the time i spent at the chiropractor.

and the one that just happend, some guy was switching lanes and speeding, while a red light was just ahead. so yeah, he rear ended me and cracked my paint and deformed my bumper just a little. i didnt want any hassle, so i just asked for 100 bucks. even tough it cost more than that to repaint it and another 300 for a new bumper.

so, in conclusion, life is fucked up. integras are prone for accidnets and ****.

 

that really sucks...i got rear ended a year asgo and i judt had back surgery 3 weeks ago because of it. Our cars hold up really well in accidents I found out. you can look at this link to see the pics from my accident. they aren't too pretty and the car was totaled

Did you buy the car back? It looks like it would be good for hybrid... seems like wheels and rear suspension were alright... You can definitely put everyting in a Civic HB.

 

yes i did, everyone wanted me too for that reason, but then no one wanted to pull the parts out, and me being a girl with a back problem from the accident couldn't do it, so I sold the car to my neighbor who owns a body shop, and he sold it to some guy that was gunna turn it into a race car. I thought that was pretty crazy.
