Civic 94, A/C Sensor in Evaporator swap
Hi
I was swapping my Evaporator to one with an airfilter.
Before, the Sensor had a 2 Pin Connetor. Now, the new one has three wires.
I repinned the 2 old wires into the new connector and replaced the wires with the same colors.
Now, there is one Wire unpinned. Its Black with a Blue stripe on it.
Where do I have to wire it up to?
I couldn't find any Wires with that code at all.
Should I wire it to the Blue wire with black Stripe from the Heater Control Unit?
Or do it the easy way and wire it up to IG1 from Stereo System?
Sorry for my English and thanks for every helpful reply.
Regards

I would assume the "sensor" is the A/C thermostat, some are two wire and others are three wire.
I am not sure I understand what it is you are doing, "I was swapping my Evaporator to one with an airfilter", evaporators do not have air filters or sensors, heater boxes, [that evaporator sits in] can have filters, [cabin filter] and "sensors" mounted in them, like blower resistor pack and thermostats.
Just to clarify...
What is the MM&Y of car "evaporator" is going into?
What is the MM&Y of car it came from?
What color are the other 2 leads? 94
BTW, your English is very good, have you seen some of the "English" used here by English speaking people?

Hi
Tank you
I meant the Box, where the Evaporator and Cabin Filter are located in. But that's not the one with the Heater Resisitor inside. That Box is located right of that one I mean.
I don't know the exact Model, from which I got the Box with the Thermostat.
It might be from an MC2 Civic, but I can't verify that Information.
The seller told me, that I have to wire the free Lead (Blk/Blu) to a Wire, which is positive, if IG2 is active. That would be the big blue one with the black Stripe, which runs from the Heater Control Unit to the Blower Motor.
I have got a 10/93 Civic EG6
Don't mind the other two Leads, there are 100% ok
I'm affraid of creating a short Circuit. Don't know if everything there is properly fused.
