why they ever lifted his ban? Who knows... And when you purchase something and it's not what they say it is, or not in the condition they say.. It's a scam... What state you from? Verbal contracts can be legal up to a nice sum of cash

Don't get me wrong, that really sucks, but you really rolled the dice buying a 13 year old ITR motor off someone you don't know. Especially someone who can't even fully remove a swap from a car properly.
At this point with any B series motor I'd just assume that it needs to be rebuilt unless the seller can 100% prove that's it good with a leakdown test, compression test, and at least video that it is running perfectly. Especially an ITR motor. Sounds like you got excited and rushed into things.

Damn that sucks, I drove to chicago to get a clutch and transmission that supposedly had only 90k on it. I didn't get around to installing it until almost a year and half later (working full time and being a full time nursing student and a Dad keeps me very busy) but the ISB on the tranny was dead. Not nearly as big as a purchase as yours but I feel for you.

We all have seen a lot on this site about scamers and what not. Most have bought or sold stolen stuff so quit trying to look all good. I have personally dealt with Greg more then once in trading and buying merchandise. Things have been getting real bad here. Let them settle it and if you have not dealt with them GTFO.
