Default MY STOCK TYPE-R 14.623 @ 97.966

2000 FBP type-r
57k
all stock! with a filter attach to the oem intake tube.
and this is a USDM TYPE-R not JDM so my headers are smaller! FTL!

1st run.
15.226 @ 98

2nd run.
14.935 @ 96.11

3rd run.
14.869 @ 97.091

4th run.
14.623 @ 97.966

all of my time got faster because on my first run i didnt do a burn out, and i launch way to low.

my 2nd run and other ones, i launch higher and higher. best run yet was 14.623 i didnt try again because i felt like i have push my R more then enough for one day. i know i could of done better if i had better tires, and get my launch down. prob. 14.5 fastes!

i know this is nothing compare to you others R's but im jus so shock! i never thought a STOCK type-r can run 14's lol! i guesss it is all in the DRIVER

pix up soon. of slip.

Wow thats a really good time,

No go buy a clutch, some r compounds, a mugen intake, jdm 4-1, hondata, and a tune and see how much of a difference it makes please lol.

It's sad I've seen so many modded ITR's have trouble breaking a 15 second pass (stock short block cars non FI)

It really does say a little about your driving, you should be proud.

USDM ITR's run a 14.5 1/4 mile time stock from factory. Your times considering you're an inexperienced driver are impressive.

Way to burst his bubble Paul. Anything under 15's for your first time out is good.

CE's don't come on because you're "pushing her too hard"

Next time pull the code (all it takes is a paper clip) and figure out what's actually wrong w/ the engine

when I had the my old comptech header and buddyclub specII exhaust it was dynoed/tuned and made 167WHP and 139tq on Dave Bludnell's dynopack which read 8.8% lower than a regular dynojet. bone stock 96jdm-itr longblock with the usdm bone stock tranny.
bolt-on's /tune ran a 13.76 lifting due to bracket racing. this is a full interior street car too.. a lot of people dont believe me but I know whats done and that's all that matters. I havnt had it retuned with the new header and no converter/exhaust so i can easily say it will go 40's+ with a retune

Well, car is not 100% stock so results are slightly skewed. Airbox delete with an open filter will help times, especially if the air temps are cool.

Most bone-stock 00-01 ITRs (and I mean bone stock) would run a mid 14 second time if the driver got the launch correct. After that, just shift right before fuel cut.

And what's the cage for, exactly?

i run 14.72 @ 94 with my stock jdm 96spec itr with crappy tyres full pressure i think with more practice can do a little better..my reaction time was 0.87 that was like my 5th run..

and i only remove the stock muffler...
