not starting properly 94 accord
ok guys im new to the forum and i was wondering if its me or the car. anywaysi have a 94 accord which purchased about 4 days ago its very clean, good standards, and has only 105xxx on it. this is my first time driving a manual car so you know how it is. stalling alot but anyways when i start my car it seems like it wont start i have to turn it off and on it like 5 times before the car starts any ideas?
are you putting the clutch all the way in when you turn on the car? if you are, you got a problem. what does it do when you try to start it? either way, since you just bought the accord id recommend doing regular maintenance; oil change, spark plugs and wires. maybe that helps. but we will need more info on whats going on to help you diagnose the problem.
everything seems fine. but i think its because i been stalling it so much that it needs to rest up.. yeah i might take it to a mecanic to get it checked up but overall it looks good. ill let you know more if i still have problems
thats what i though when i bought my 94 last year too. but ive turns out it wasnt taken care of properly. since then, ive replaced thermostat, radiator, hoses, fuel filter and fuel lines, ball joint, water pump, timing belt among other things. but i guess thats just regular maintenance on a 16 yr old car. you might be overflowing and choking up the fuel lines. but id really recommend doing oil change and spark plugs asap for regular maintenance.
Whenever I forget which car I am in and stall the engine on my 91 accord ex manual, it needs to sit about 30 seconds before it will restart. I do not know why, but it has always done this.
