Default Clutch rattle when the clutch is engaged.

It happens in neutral and in all gears. I haven't checked in reverse. The rattling doesn't seem to go away when I am driving. It does get slightly softer, but I think engine noise is simply drowning it out, but I still hear it.

It's a pretty loud rattle in neutral. With my windows closed, I can clearly hear it and it's really annoying.

Would this issue be covered under the powertrain warranty if I am still covered for it?

update: I gave a local acura dealership a call and they said that if the part wasn't covered under warranty, then I would have to pay 800 + parts just to fix it, so I would like to figure out my problem to see if I should even go to the dealership or not.

info about my car: It has 36,000 miles and the problem just started last night and it happened randomly. It didn't happen earlier in the day when I was on my way home from school, but later on in the night when I went out to go get food. I tried turning off the car and turning it back on and it still had the problem.

does it get quieter when you press the clutch in? if so it could be loose flywheel bolts. I had this problem after a motorswap.

when i press the clutch in, the noise goes away completely. when i leave the pedal untouched, it starts to get real loud.

umm sounds to me like ur throwout bearing is toast..i have the same problem..when ur in neutral u get the squeaky noise and when u push the clutch in the sounds gone..1st and 2nd gear u can still hear it all whiney and clanky..every person/shop i talked to sed either pull the tranny urself cus the part is only like 30 buxs by itself or wait till ur clutch needs to be replaced if ur gunna do it in a shop..think bout it 800 buxs for a 30 dollar part is not worth it..it sounds gross but hey what can u do..ive thought bout pullin my tranny with a friend but havent done it yet..plus my stg2 clutch still has a lot of life left

Will I damage anything by not replacing the throwout bearing? I don't see myself replacing a clutch for at least 7 years. I have driven just 36k miles in 4.5 years, so it'll be 2017 before I hit 100k miles.

Well, if I don't NEED to change out my clutch, there would be no reason for me to do it. My car is stock, so I don't see the clutch slipping before 100k.

^^Yup, like Josh said, your gears won't disengage at some point and shutting the car on&off will not solve the problem. You'd actually have to force it to disengage and as it gets worse, you'd have to purposely/forcefully stall in order to disengage...
Also, unless you super baby your ride, you'd probably need to deal with replacing your clutch much sooner than what you're expecting. GL bro!!!

I drove ~30 miles today and I didn't hear any rattle at all, so lets hope the problem stays away.

You will eventually end up damaging the spring forks on the pressure plate (pictured below), then how much will you have to pay?

My EP has this issue as well. Mine is more of a chatter or knocking noise.

Here is the kicker it much more pronounced while the A/C is on....
I was thinking it was either the TO bearing or the input shaft bearing, 05 w 51k
