Hello! This is my first of many posts on here, Hoping the wealth of info can help me get my first civic which I just bought to where I want it to be!!

Ok, so as I said I just purchased a EK coupe, and the shifter boot is falling down the shifter. Not a big pain, but I might as well put a new nicer on in there that i'd like more visually.. How do I go about changing the boot out?

 

there are screws that run around the center column on both sides should be 3 or 4 on each side once they are out the whole center section should come right out

flip it over and see how the old boot is clipped in remove and clip the new one back into place

 

Yeah, super easy upgrade, took me about 15-20 mins

 

^^^ Nice boot Is that the password jdm? Im looking for one similar with red stitching similar to that.

Any reason as to why its not staying up on the shifter anymore? Maybe I can just get it to stay until I find a boot I want.

 

just put red stitching the stock one thats what my mamma done for me. as for it slidding down just do a washer sandwich. 4 washers 2 big and 2 small. under the **** go big,small,small,big and put the tip of the boot between.
