I ordered some OEM filters(15400-PT7-005) and received them today but I don't know they are kind a biggy. Anyone here have used it?
I personally would not use fram.
K & N is my choice. Expensive.. but keep my mind at ease. Used to use a mobil one filter on my teg as well with the ls, but with a built motor I will only use K&N. It worked for my ls and never had a problem.

Honda oil filters have been made by either ROKI (discontinued), FILTECH or Honeywell.
I just bought (within the last 5 mins) a small filter for the S2K. IMO its the best one. Its skew # is 15400-PCX-004 made by FILTECH. This is the same filter that used to be made by ROKI.
I have been told that these FILTECH filters will be discontinued soon since the S2K is no longer in production.
Our dealership only stocks two Honda filters, both say Honeywell on them. Both of them are made by Fram/Honeywell. I don't understand what the parts guy has to do with who makes OEM Honda filters.
The topic just reminded me of this vid.

You work at a dealership and you dont understand where the parts counter guy comes in? Do they grow on oil filter trees out back where you work?
I didnt see anyone post this up and I know its been discussed before..
You can use the oil filters from s2000 (what i use and numerous others on the board). Just call any honda and say you need that and you are set. Easier than remembering part #'s

Honda's A02 Honeywell filter is the same as a Fram cheapo. Don't waste your money on it:
Honda's A01 Filtech filter is very nice:
Here is a Fram vs Honda A01:

Here is a Honda A02 (same as Fram above):

The A01 filters are almost impossible to find now. All dealers will sell you the A02 instead. I use Mobil 1's M1-110 or M1-104 (whichever is in stock).
