ok I finally got my b16a civic running and my car is throwing a code 14 for the iac and I replaced the sensor twice. And its still throwing the same code do you guys think its the motor in the back of the intake manifold or the fast idle motor.

Also when I give it a lil gas my car will surge at 1,500 rpm like pulsate. I mean like ugh ugh ugh. I am still trying to figure this out. Any help will be great.

 

That surging idle could be a few things. For my friend he had it for months and tried a couple of things like checking the vaccum lines. It ended up being that he had air bubbles in his coolant. He let the car run with the radiator cap off for like 20 minutes letting the fan cycle twice.

 

fixed it. I t was the plug to the back of the intake manifold for the iac motor.
