Icon2 Del Sol and Bluetooth: Built-in or External Mic?

Hi everyone- I'm looking for a bluetooth stereo for my 94 Del Sol, and looking for advice from other Del Sol owners.

Would it be better to get one with built-in bluetooth or an external microphone?

I'm thinking built-in bluetooth might be better since the stereo is low enough to be protected from the wind (kind of... driving at a reasonable speed).

If it's better to get something with an external microphone, where is the best place to put it so that it I don't sound like I'm in a wind tunnel while I'm on the phone?

Does anyone here have either type?
Thanks for any feedback or suggestions!

i have an external mic with my setup in my subie. and i also have a Del sol that will be getting on to. the one in the subie is mounted up on the headliner and works amazing. and i think the one i get for the sol will be put in or close to the same place

bluetooth is nice if your bawler like that, in my gf's sol we have a radio with a aux input and we use our iphones for music so when the phone rings everything plays through the speakers and your mic is your phone, i know its not what your talking about but its a great alternative.

I guess my main concern is how well the bluetooth mic will work while I'm driving with the top off...?

I'm assuming that putting the mic anywhere on or near the visor would not be the best idea, so maybe the built-in option would be best?

I've got a kenwood deck with a built in mic in my jeep and it works decent, the mic is kind of tucked under the volume **** though, so depending on how i'm sitting, my voice can be a bit muffled to the other person.

I'd imagine it would be much worse in my sol since the radio is that much farther down.
