EK drivers side motor mount. any alternatives?
So I blew up my drivers side motor mount the other night on the way home from the drags. This would be the replacement mount that the previous owner installed before I bought the car. So rather than have this happen again, is there anyone that sells an aftermarket replacement that's better? Something along the lines of polyurethane would be nice, not looking for solid mounts.
Edit: stock Y7.

I went thru two mounts and on the third one, I installed a polyurethane insert on it. I installed it three years ago and still holding strong till this day.
I still haven't found any other type or aftermarket with better quality motor mounts out there. So that's why I went and installed the insert.

Oh that's nice. ^^^
Problem is I can't afford that right now and I need something before the next track day, so I may just replace it with a stock mount for now.

How many mounts should an EK hatch have? Four, correct? One drivers side, one rear, two passenger?
Edit: I believe I am missing a front lower mount. Anyone have photos of what it should look like?

Holy crap, how are you going through mounts like that on a y7?
I'm on my original OEM mount with 223k miles and a gsr swap, and it's never had a problem.
Are you wheel hopping a bunch? If you're missing a torque mount up front, I could see that possibly causing the main mounts to fail prematurely.

The front lower mount is not there. If it's integrated into the AC bracket, that's probably why. I have no AC. Sound like that's my problem. I plan on going to the junk yards tomorrow morning, so I'll have a gander and see if I can find one.
No idea about wheel hop. I've only launched the car once for about one or two seconds before the current mount gave way. If I had known I was missing a mount, I wouldn't have tried to launch it.

The reason I went through two mounts is cause I didn't know that the lower driver side was broken. But even thou with the new one, I still installed the insert to be on the safer side.
I've got a friend sourcing the front lower mount for me from his work. I just spent $60 on a replacement mount from Checker just so I could get something in there ASAP. When I took the broken mount off the car, it was indeed BROKEN. haha.

Well I just ordered on Ebay the INNOVATIVE MOUNT for my '98 Civic Hatchback. I'm looking forward to this set up.

Thinking that it would help it not break again which it did. But oh well, now I got a really good one coming soon. I was going to order the Hasport one but I don't have the power to be buying top notch parts for a stock motor. So this would do just fine for now on.
Wanted to show you the motor mount installed. I installed it last Saturday and the headers too, enjoy!
