Default y8/a6 mini me swap

Once again, id like to get your guys opinion. I am doing a mini me swap y8 head on my a6 block. I am also going to build it from the ground up for turbo, now my main concern is what wiring harness i would use. I assume it is the Si harness, with a vtec subharness, and pigtail at the ecu, oh, the car is an si, so the dpfi and mpfi issue isnt a problem. and i would like to ask u guys if anyone has an a6 short block for sale, or knows anyone that does. because i would really not want to have to take my engine out of my car, and have my car out of commission, considering it is my only mode of transportation at the moment. and one burning question is how, when i have an obdo block, and obd2 head, would i convert everything to obd1. now either way i assume it will be fun. any feedback on this would be awesome.

Just use your harness. Convert to OBD1 with an ECU adapter and a P28 ECU. Run wiring for VTEC solenoid and VTEC pressure switch. Also run the wiring for the 4 wire O2 sensor. You can reuse your injectors for ease but you'll need an OBD1/2 Dseries distributor (except D16Z6/D15B VTEC/D15Z1) and a distributor adapter.Let me know if you need any help with wiring or the swap.

you can stay obd0. at least im told, i plan on doing y8/a6 mini. keeping the a6 distributor and intake manifold and using a chipped PS9 ecu to activate v/tec.

sweet. well, that sounds easier than i thought it would be, and like i said, im gonna build it up for turbo, fuel pump, 480cc injectors, so on and so forth, curious, when im ordering new electronics for the block, head, like fuel pump, injectors, sensors, dizzy, your saying just order it for an eg obd1 civic, del sol right? and u said u have some of the harnesses right? if i need them where can i get a hold of you at when i need them?
