Default Swapping rear LCAs DIY?

Hey -

Does anybody have a link for a how-to on removing/installing new rear LCAs ('96 - '00 civics)?

you dont need a link man its simple... remove the 3 bolts on the old lca... my advice is to get new bolts since they old ones have tendency of rounding off or breaking off.

then you put the new lcas on and put the 3 bolts in.

if you have a sway bar u need to remove that nut or bolt as well

This.. and chances are that you will break the old bolts.

simple stuff, you need no guides for this kinda thing. Ive done it many times, easy easy. look at them and you'll see which bolts you have to remove.

like someone said.. if you have a sway bar, there will be an extra bolt.

Remember to soak the bolts with WD-40 and use jack stands.

Yup, that helps. I have found that "liquid wrench" works even better than wd40

I would pick up a can of pb buster and soak all the bolts for a day. Then the next day i would swap out the lca's. If you break those bolts you'll be pissed of because they are a b**ch to get out. Plus they are 8 bucks a piece straight from honda.
