Well I just got my Lip back from paint and I'm ready to install. I read somewhere on here that it was a tight fit. I lined it up and it looks like it will need some twisting and turning to make it fit. Any tips on making the installation a bit easier? Don't want to crack it.

 

Is it abs? poly urethane?
You should have stretched a bit before paint.

 

It's ABS.

 

Try leaving it in the sun a whole day to see if it helps.

 

yeah please dont crack it. If it's a REAL MUGEN LIP it will have the decal on the front and a PART #/STYLE on the back. if it's real, make sure no one steals it lol. if its a replica, drill that sh** on to your bumper and call it a day.

 

Ya it's real, that's why I want to take every safe measure possible.

 

Ya don't let anybody steal your lip. I've got a mr em1 with no lip and I hate it. Don't know where and when but now it's gone and I have to replace it

 

go to fastenal and look for security screws. its a screw with two holes on the head thatcan only be unscrewed with the appropriate drive size bit and get a matching nut/washer for it. Best thing you can do not unless somebody really wants the goddamn thing and rip it off

 

Ya I was thinking what to use other than the oem screws, thanks for the tip.
