radio problem

Default radio problem

so today i got a radio and hooked it up.went to start the car up to see if the radio would work it wouldnt.it had power.i can hit the display button and it will show the time.but it wont come on when i turn the key to on.someone could possible help me with this.thanks

Sounds like you do not have ACC. power to the HU, [radio].

Honda/Acura have 3 power leads in the radio harness, 12V constant, [hot at all times] sounds like you have that one as clock works, 12V switched, [hot in ON and RUN] sounds like you do not have it, and 12V switched (illumination), [hot when park/head lights are on] this lead may or may not be needed for your HU, either way it would not prevent HU from working. 94
