Default Is my power lock module toast? Video Inside

A month or so ago, my door locks stopped working on my 93 civic coupe. It's got 272,XXX miles so I can't complain too much.

Anyways, I tried testing the lock switch which turned out to be fine. I am having trouble/lacking tools to test the lock actuators. Today I noticed a noise when locking the driver side door manually. It was a deep screeching sound coming from the front of the door. I pulled the panel off and the noise is coming from the door lock module. I even took it apart and found the electronic components inside that were making the noise.

DOes this noise mean teh module is toast, or could bad actuators be causing this? I'm leaning toward the module since the switch still works and I think it's highly unlikely both actuators went out at the same time.

Here's a video of the noise as I'm working the switch, both on and off.

OK, now there's no noise coming from the box. WTF?

BTW, I forgot to mention all the fuses check out fine.
