Problem: I'm not gettin any spark!!

I'm using a PM6 ECU, check engine light comes on and the ECU blinks, so thats not the problem
I've gone over the all connections, switched the two white wires on the dizzy, that didnt work
bought a new dizzy, CPS, and ignition switch.
The engine will crank over, but won't start
My mechanic swears that the ECU is wired up right and the problem is in the harness.
Tomorrow I'm going to re-check the wires going into the ECU then maybe I can get the car to run.
oh it was 88 DX DPFI switched to MPFI

I think I got all the necessary info, so let me know if you guys got any suggestions. I'm tired and burned out on this project so I might be missing a few things.
