Default Made a few passes on friday night. what do you think?

Well I made a bunch of passes trying a few different things. All were low boost 17psi passes so it was in the 430whp range. rev limiter was at 8500rpm for all the runs below.

First pass: ran out of gear in 4th and let it coast

1.8087
4.9973
7.4566@100.11mph
9.5497
11.4004@123.15

second pass: shift to 5th

1.7865
4.9621
7.4239@101.19mph
9.4959
11.3286@124.41mph

Third pass: Just let it hit the limiter in 4th

1.8041
5.0220
7.4971@99.27mph
9.6090
11.3790@125.84mph

All passes had way to much air in the slicks as you can tell by the crap 60ft and 330's but I just wanted to get a feel for the car. These were my first passes down the track in 3 years.

The last pass I raised the limiter to 9000rpm and hit the high boost button in 3rd. Crank case presure pushed the dipstick out of the tube(golden eagle dipstick not stock) which ended my run. I am going to vent the valve cover and see if it helps.

Next time out I am using way less air the slicks and going to try to get a full pass to the 9000RPM rev limit and try to make a 10 second pass.

Here is a video of the 11.37 pass:

Yes.

You need to properly vent the engine. I had the same problem on my dsm, put x2 -10's on the valvecover to a nice big catchcan and never had an problem since!

10s are close! Is the car caged?

Its all good man! Cages are a huge pain. I went 11.1 last year with nothing at all, Had mid 10s forsure but got booted! Now ive got a 10pt and its a pain, but safety is important.

Cheers!

I didnt mind my old cage in my integra. I will probably do the same with this one(everything was tucked up super tight to the headliner and we ran the tubing so you couldnt really see it from the outside of the car)
