how painfull is this swap 91 ls into a 96 civc?
trying to help my buddy out but his motor is a obd0 ls swap that he is trying to put into his 96 civc...wanted to find out how much of a difference is doing this swap compared to a obd1 swap, in regaurds to wiring and can i use the 99-00 si engine mounts? any help thanks (ive been using the odb1 into odb2 civic write up for a guidline but have ran into some bumps)
what would i change the post mounts to? the tranny mounts goes on fine the L mount is good, but the mount on the timing belt side doesnt go on smooth?

the fan switch wiring will also have to be extended to the back of the block from the thermostat housing from your original motor. You'll also need to change from 3 wire to 2 wire IACV if his car is anything other than a 5 speed EX. Honestly if you are going to all that trouble it might be better to change to OBD1 instead of OBD2. You'll be dealing with less sensors (2nd O2, CKF which the LS motor you have doesn't even have, emissions pieces) and if he wants to tune it later it'll be easier.
thanks^^^ my buddy wants to swap it to odb2 for emission purposes plus he has all the odb2 pieces needed.....i wish he went odb1 muchhhh easier
