what are some of my options when it comes to different seats in my EG?
so i pretty much hate the stock EG seats more and more every time i sit in it. I really want to find something more comfortable. What are some of my options as far as fitment goes? Which seats are interchangeable?
Also, this might be a shot in the dark here but has anyone ever put GTI seats in an EG? I loooved the seats in my GTI and would love to have some in my EG if its possible at all, of course there will be some modification involved. Thanks for any input

I would recommend GSR seats for affordable comfort. if you don't mind spending a little bit of money, i would go S2K, EP3, or the Recaros (JDM/CDM/AUS..etc.. pretty much anywhere but US)
If you're a tall guy, del sol seats are pretty nice as well, they are pretty cheap but getting harder to find in great condition anymore.

if you want gti seats in you car get a gti, otherwise the sky's the limit almost all seats are universal with a bit of modification

del sol seats are the best bang for your buck IMO, comfortable, cheap, hold you very well during hard turns. Or just stop being a baby and get some recaros.

Do it the cheap way and get DEL SOL seats! trust me you will love them i have a pair on my EG hatch and they work great!
del Sol seats are nice and pretty cheap. All 94-01 Integra seats will bolt all 4 bolts up in a 92-95 Civic and they would be my pick. Cloth, leather you pick. 98-01 Integra seats have front and rear height adjustments and the leather on them (if you choose leather) is softer and nicer quality than the 94-97.
go with del sol seats... i love mine..but if your looking to be different the sky is the limit for you.. as long as you can do metal fab.
GSR leathers have always been my favorite. I got some DC2 ITR Recaros and man.. let's just say my minty leathers are up for sale cause I probably won't be going back. Recaros aren't very cost effective but I bet they beat the hell out of a GTI seat and they bolt right in without fab work.
i got ls seats in my 95 coupe and i like them but can go with del sol seats if your tall like me im waitting for mine to get here
I have some del sol seats for sale...they're Hella comfy...

what year GTi seats are you thinking of? if it is an A2 GTi/GLi, or A4 with the Recaro seats, then you can get a set of Recaro rails for a civic and mount the Recaros to the rails.
any other year/model will not work.
nevermind the VW haters.

I got lucky a few years back. My Dad bought a totaled Del-Sol for parts since he had other cars he needed parts for. The seats had the Red stripe which I knew would be perfect in my Red EJ1. He told me I could have the Del-Sol seats and I just give him my stock EX seats..DONE! I like the Del-Sol seats a lot better than the stock EX seats. They sit a little lower in the car to and hold me in better in turns. So I would say Del-Sol seats aren't a bad option, there are of course better options out there as you know.

and ep3's are made by recaro so quality is second to none
