im going vtec on my honda prelude h23a1. its a 96. and i just want to know what kind of ecu i should get my hands on.

 

p28 or p72

 

Less headache if you can find an OBD2 ECU for a 96 Prelude. All you need to do is add 2 pin terminals for VTEC oil pressure and VTEC solenoid.

 

Just asking since ive seen people screw it up before, but make sure the h22 head is installed right, you cant just slap it on the h23 block and your good to go.

but yea like jprelude92 said, p28 or p72 rechipped will work that way you can tune.
