Default 98 Accord- Hooked up connecter wires for subs no dash lights

So I bought a connector and everything for my stock head unit for my subs and i hooked everything up right and now my dash lights wont come on. I havent hooked up the subs yet cus im afraid I'll mess it up more help?

What do you mean a "connector", do you have a link to it?

Adding a sub to a stock system would normally require a "LOC" [level output control module or line output control] something like this... http://staub.ca/catalog/partdetail.a...o=EIS-LOC-AFV2

If that is what you mean, then you have miswired it, make sure that no connections have been made to the red/black lead, [or red lead if avalable] in the stock radio harness.
Check the dash light fuse. 94
