Default Question about puttin a gsr motor in 01 crv awd 5spd

Well I have decided that I need a lil more power out of my crv and have a gsr motor to drop in to replace my b20z .......

So my question is and I haven't looked yet because its dark outside ..... What harness will I need to run not sure if crv harness is like the 99-00 si harness are not ? What ecu can I use I know I can run a conversion harness and use an obd1 jumper with a obd1 ecu but I want to be able to still pass emissons when the time comes around again I know my options for a header are very limited since I have a awd crv and rather not have to put a janky obx header on it but is it possible to use the top half of the gsr header and the down pipe for the crv one ????

I'm sure someone has done this swap and want to know what issues I might run into and what I might need to have on hand b4 I do the swap

Thanx in advance !!!!

it should just drop right in and i think you may have to use the B20 intake Manifold but im not sure if it'll even bolt up other than that you shouldnt encounter any issues

yes, the b20 header will bolt up to a gsr motor. i've got that into my 98 crv right now.

only mods i had to do was dizzy obd1-to-obd2, and driver mount, took that from b20 and put it on gsr, and then used all stock b20 header/exhaust everything. even got a/c. just no PS, the b20 a/c line is too big where it plugs into the actual pump, and the b20 a/c unit will not bolt up to gsr motor. so... unless you modify the line to a gsr line you can use the gsr PS pump. but mine is all good... pulls good enough, and vtec is awesome, but... car is too heavy ha! tried vtec'ing with a bunch of friends in the car and it just sounds cool, but you go no where. it's hilarious

You can use the CR-V A/C compressor, you just need to the B20 A/C bracket or one from a Del Sol Vtec. (the CR-V uses a D-series compressor) For P/S you need a '98 - '01 Integra P/S bracket (can't remember it has to come from a vtec model or not)
