Are B and D series torque mounts different from one another? I'm swapping a B18C type R into an EG and I was able to use my D series passenger side torque mount, but I never had a driver side torque mount. I want to use one now, so do I have to get a B series or a D series torque mount for the drivers side?

 

if you just mean the rubber mount, then i took one off a junkyard eg coupe and put it on my b16swapped 93 hatch fit like a glove

 

I think its rubber, whatever all of the mounts are made of... I think its part metal..

Use the one from the car. So d series.

Yes, use D series. It'll work just fine.

The B series ones have an extra metal tab on top that causes them to not line up with the holes in the Civic body correctly. At least, that was the case with the B mounts that came with my swap. I just pumped the D mounts full of polyurethane and threw them back on.
