Well her it goes..

I have a 93 civic obd1 conversionm p28 ecu. Ran fine then it started hard to start then wouldnt start. had to move it so cranked over popped clitch to move it. Then pulled distb cap off my rotor button backed off destroyed my inside replaced all wont run.Put new belt on timing gears are in sync with each other and in with the crank. Car will sometimes start rtuns decent until it warms up then sputters and bogs. under a load while driving its worse. Sometimes will have to pull the bolts out of the distb fully retard it to start put back in norman posiiton will run. will bog at low idle or fast rev rev slow will go to rev limiter.. tried another map sensor no go. I think its the distb or some sensor it is not throwing any codes.

Help!! im out of ideas:(

 

check the ground on the thermostat housing. its a sensor ground for all the distributor internals

i had the same thing happen to me, turned out it was a bad ground. give it a try.
