ok wel just yesterday i had no problem with my rpm, but this morning when i started my car i notice that it was a bit lower than normal. it use to idle at about 1500-1600rpm on cold starts, now it reads about 1100rpm but u could tell from the sound of the motor that its actually higher than 1100, so i kno my rpm gage is off about 500 lower than normal. and now my vtack kicks at 5500 instead of 5000 like it always use to... what can b the cause?

 

 

mine does the same **** vtec at 6k but tach reads 6500

 

your tach signal is getting weak

 

how do i fix it?

 

can it b the distributor going out??
