Default Modifying Tial Housing? 4" Vband

Anyone modify a tial housing yet to allow it to go right to a 4" V band?

why, there is no point in buying a tial housing just to cut the V off & weld a bigger one on. just buy a regular & do it.

Right if you didn't have a manifold already built for the Tial along with already having it you would be correct.

Why? You still have the benefits of the Vband entry.

I haven't done it, but it looks like Tial actually weld the 3" 1 on afterwards, because theres sometimes inperfections around it.

which model housing are you wanting to do this too? I can imagine that the transition would not nearly be as nice.
