head over to ur local honda dealership and get an oil filter there, they're only about 6$, best one for ur motor since its smaller creates more oil pressure for vtec to work propertly

Just because your buying a factory filter doesnt mean its a good one. Honda filters are built in the US and they bid out productions to all kinds of manufacturers like fram, bosch etc etc and throw a honda stamp on them. True story.

Just because fram makes honda filters doesn't mean the internals are the same as a shelf fram

so your telling me fram halts production to make "honda spec" filters? c'mon now lets use some common sense. we know thats BS. And its not JUST fram who produces them, its stp and bosch in some cases as well. I read a 5 page article on it the other day. I run K&N on my civic as well as other vehicles. Why go cheap on a part you only change every every 3-4k miles?

So you are telling me that a filter company the size of fram uses the same internals on all filters. Diesels, gas, everything. They all have the same quality and internals?

Im not saying every filter is identical they make, no. That isnt possible with the many variety of motors and vehicles they provide filters for. Im saying they may add one more filter screen or layer of cotton gauze to their standard filter but its not going to be any night and day difference by any means.
