Im putting together a ls/vtec with 81.5mm rs machine pct pistons. can i use the blox hsl cams and not have the valves hit the pistons. will i have to use a thicker head gasket to make it work. please lmk if i can. thanks

What head are you using?

 

from my experience, it will work, but its best to clay! I had a old GSR head that was milled about 4 times, not sure how much machinist took off each time but looks like there wrent much meat left, ran with Pro2 cams and LS block with CTR pistons. it cleared by suprise! lol, but every motor is diiferent i guess so clay da bitch!

 

its a b16 head that has never been decked.

 

it should be ok, but u would want to clay if u care about the motor, for me i didnt give a ****, if it blows it blows but it didnt lol!
