If you already have one on then I don't think it would be worth it to take it off. I don't keep up with headers but if the one you have added 12 whp and you got one that would add 15whp to a stock motor then you did all the work to swap headers for 3whp. You won't even notice it. But if it makes you happy then go for it. Sorry I can't reccomend one to you

I have the Vibrant cat-less race header and the difference with Flash-Pro was great.
In retrospect, I think I might of gone with the BC cat-less RH. I think the build might of added abit more power. You might want to consider a few more bolt on's to really get all you can out of your car. Good luck.

If power is your goal then get one that has a 3in collector and get a 3in full race catback. Quiet for its size and adds the most hp.

Another bolt on that helped increase my power was the JDM / Type R RRC Intake manifold.
It's OEM and a direct bolt on. You may want to use a Hondata IM gasket while at it.
With bolt on's Flash Pro and a good dyno, you can really change your car!

J's Racing /thread

If you have the cash, J's Racing hands down. Anything J's is the best, above spoon, amuse, mugen, seeker, mcr, asm. IMO

Buuuttt something half the cost that's the best of the "I'm a weekend baller" catagory is skunk2's.

I would take a Hytech over anything in a second if I had the loot. Someone just got one for a HUGE steal on 8th.

i think i would have to agree with fijibluesi on both of his comments. if i were baller (and still had my civic) i would get the hytech, but if i wanted power for a good price i would get the bc

The reason I'm so supportive of J's racing is, they are J's racing international racing team. Therefore for them to stay competative and in the winnings they have to build good ****. Hytech has some fancy welds, but they're not racing to support their company. Yeah spoon races, but they're endorsed by Honda. Mugen, well how long have they been competitely outta the scene, two decades? Alot of other companies are just "tuning shops", cken, c-west, dc sports, feels twincamm etc, they don't internationally compete. Now by no means am I saying those companies don't build good ****. I mean theirs always Megan racing lol!

Umm ok, I don't think you understand what I ment. All your link proves is, "hey were hytech,we specialize in exhaust systems, like many other tuning companies, except we have some colored history, so we have a phat price tag".

J's racing is an international racing team, not a company that builds a part for other people to race with. They build all their own ****, and they ****ing win , a lot. That's the difference.

Yes, the RRC IM did make a difference. There are some threads on this forum where they compare the RRC to the RBC in a dyno test. The RRC made the most bhp as compared to several other IM's that are available.

as for race header the best bang for your buck is the kiddracing header. mine is quality and made good power.

Kidd racing is a great header but a combo of 70mm skunk2 with skunk2 header makes the most power when combined

x2

Monies well spent if you ask me, 1200ish for both plus shipping. I bought them from 2kracing our fellow ht sponsor.

Loud, real loud.

Ya'kno I would'a gone J's if I was baller enough to spend 2gs on an exhaust and another 1700 on a header, lol. I wish I could afford that, I'm tired of being in the pee-wee league of baller status.....
