I don't understand how the word rice relates to anything to do with cars. Unless someone would be reffering to the rice that is grown in the country these cars are manufactured in!

then why do WE use it?
it doesn't detract from the fact that it's not politically correct. many people use other racial terms, but does that make it okay?

Of course it's not! But hey I can't stand being PC.

Anyways it's a crappy term used to put people down and limit imagination. Cause now you got people that will try really hard not to be a ricer so they try to get approval of others before they do anything to there car.

It's a shame really. But you have to force people to conform RIGHT!!!

personally, i dont think its not politically correct, because the term rice refers to the noise a rice maker makes when making rice. which is similar to the sound of a big exhaust, the first modification (usually) of a 'ricer'.
