or nos
most of those ideas wont help. you can use two thermal gaskets between the manifold and head and t.b, its what i did to my setup.

cooling the top of the manifold will do almost nothing for you except waste time and money. the 3 choices are nitrous, or the lht mani setup or build your own lht alike setup. the air has to pass threw something for heat transfer.

The new jrsc k20/k24 kits have an air to water heat exchanger in a plate that mounts between the jrsc and the lower intake manifold. This is how the 2003-2004 cobras are set up also. I suggest fabbing one up.

I'm currently experimenting with water injection. I'm running an M62 D series kit from Endyn, and seeing 20psi at anything above 4,500 rpm. Below that it starts at 15 psi as soon as I open the throttle beyond about 50% and quickly ramps up to 20. Without any kind of cooling, I was seeing almost instantaneous 200 degree+ IAT (as high as 225-250). I have got that down to in and around 150-160 with the lower gear pulls and creeping up to 195-200 in the higher gear pulls. I will be upping my jet size shortly from the 310cc to the 550cc to see if that gets it any lower.

All this is while I am tuning my setup. The motor is built to see 9,500 rpm in the 1st 2 gears, and so far has seen 9,000 a couple times in 1st and 8,200 in 2nd.
