96 Accord LX A/C help
I just tried to recharge the system with a 22oz can of refrigerant I bought at O'Reilly. The can had pressure guage which read about 10 psi when I hooked it up after running MAX A/C for 3 min. So I charged it up to the recommended PSI between 35-40 PSI @ 70 degrees. Needless to say, It didn't work. When I puch the A/C switch On, the car doesn't really react in any way. Doesn't the fan normally kick on, or you can hear the condenser react? Trying to get the A/C going before we dive into this St. Louis HEAT!! Any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks.

From experience anytime you have to recharge a AC system and when you have not tampered with is that you have a leak especially at 10 psi. So there a reason you have a leak and "mark2583" is probably right if you do not have the right equipment to fix it gl.
Yeah anytime you turn on the AC the fan comes on and you can see compressor turn on it sound like you have many problems seals, sensors, maybe compressor problems.
