There are 2 versions, each made of different materials. One flares out to the sides (like the one of the first pic) and the other is more flushed with the bumper, doesn't flare to the sides (like the black CD7 above).

Haha, I always chocked that up to poor quality in the mold process.

The ones that didn't fit right and flared out you had to fight to get flush with the bumper
