not trying to mess with anybody but i feel it should be said again that this car has torque converter/transmission problems, as it wasn't very clear in the og post, just looking out for potential buyer's

thanks for the remainder, but i think it was made clear enough.... "unfortunately the only issue is that i recently found out the torque converter on my tranny is going and after so much invested in this car, i have decided to part with it."

for those that have asked, the reason im getting rid of it is because i also own a e60 5 series and im seeking something more compact, and with the abrupt issue with the torque converter...i have decided to trade it in. if no trade is made within the next couple of weeks, i'll just swap the stock m62 motor/tranny in favor of the m5 4.9L s62 beast from the e39 rated at 400bhp, slamm it with some bilstein pss9 coilover, ***** it and enjoy it for the summer

ok h-t...the car has a fixed tranny (full overhaul) with warranty...everything is 100% in working order with no issues whatsoever

the car has a new rebuilt tranny with warranty, all the ugly chrome has been replaced with bmw's shadowline trim (black trim), new bearings put in this week, i need to check the 2 abs sensors, apparently the idiot mechanic either did not plug them in correctly, covered them in gunk or just fuc**d them up. car drives/runs without no issues. ac is ice cold, no over heating issues. sat for 1 hour in hartford traffic with ac on and always stood in the middle mark.

i appreciate the comment and the bump, and truly, the e39 is considered by many bavarian enthusiast to be the best bmw ever, much better and more refined than the e60 it replaced
i'm really looking for something a bit more modified, i'm also poundering on another trade offer that was offered to me. i"ll keep you posted if anything chages. thanks for the offer
