alright yesterday i bought this Pilot drove it everything was fine although when i was test driving it i noticed it jerked/hesitated a little (felt like the 4X4 was on) but it wasn't , so as the day goes by and put about 70 miles on the car. as i was driving home i noticed while driving a steady speed the car started shacking (again it felt like the 4X4 was on) if i accelerated or let off the gas it stopped doing it so little while later the CEL turned on as well as the ATM-4 (i think thats what its called) light turned on too...does anyone know how to read the code in these things ??? i guess what im asking is if there similar to do as the civics etc. if not im going to take it to auto zone or something to have them pull the code thanks in advance if anyone knows what may caused this please lmk

 

in many cases the cel will throw the vtm-4 light on as well,sounds like a misfire/egr problem.

report back with the dtc.

 

yeah thats what found out by a friend who has had this problem as well but i have an appointment tomorrow morning at the honda dealer so hopefully they can figure it out and get resolved asap
