90 ex suspension
i have a 90 ex coupe and i want to upgrade the suspension. i am going to stick with the stock tires and rims 195 65 15 i believe. So i want to upgrade but its my dd i dont want something super stiff. i want something thats adjustable but i dont want coil overs. i was looking at the neuspeed cup kit. ilike i said its gonna be my dd and i dont want a super stiff setup i want something that handles better and something i can be comfortable with. as reference i have a friend with a DA and he is running F2 suspension on stiffest mode and thats ust way to stiff for me. can u guys help me out?
I got quoted for the neuspeed suspension with tokico yellow adjustable shocks. 750 has anyone ran this set up? And would my stock wheels be ok with this set up?

"Upgrade" but it's a daily drive and don't want anything too stiff
Adjustable but don't want coilovers
Handles better and comfortable
You don't say anything about wanting to be lowered. When you lower the vehicle the springs HAVE to be stiffer since you're giving the car less room to travel. If you kept the same spring rates the vehicle has the potential to dip too low and bottom out, damaging the under-body as well as the suspension components.
An upgrade to a 20 year old suspension would be to just buy replacement OEM equivalent shocks of a good brand. Those things are probably beat to ****.
You're also not going to have adjustability without having coilovers, sleeveovers, or bags *shudder*. So I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish there?
From the sounds of it, Koni Yellows and dropping the adjustment ring down to the middle notch and then running stock springs may be the best option. You're not getting adjustability but the newer shocks will help the handling.
You *can* go to the Suspension sections/threads on Honda-Tech, AccordinglyDone, HondaSociety, etc and read on those as well.
Thx for your input muffinman. Were you the one that redid a 5th gen a while back? Purple car right? Anyway I see what your saying I decided to go with the f2 type one suspension since I'm going to be getting a good deal on it.
